Viper Performance warranties its silicone hoses against any manufacturing defects and malfunctions
such as bursting, and cracking for a period of 3 years following the invoice date of purchase of goods.
The warranty covers all universal silicone hoses and silicone hose kits purchased via Viper
Performance’s website and invoiced from 1st of September 2009.
Viper Performance does not warranty any parts purchased prior to 1st of September 2009
Viper Performance will replace any faulty or defective parts within the warranty period
which fall under the conditions of this warranty. Claim and return policies are explained in the
following conditions.
Parts not covered by Viper Performance’s 3 year warranty:
Aluminium pipes, Intercoolers, Oil catch cans, Hose clamps, Dump valves, Air filters, Breather filters, Ducting,

Blanking plugs, hose connectors and all general accessories and

OEM parts designed and built to customer’s own requirements and specifications.
Parts covered by Viper Performance’s 3 year warranty:
Viper branded silicone performance hose kits, universal meter lengths, Superflexi hoses, couplers,

hump hoses, T pieces, 90,45,135° elbows, and reducers.



Viper Performance will advise customers on suitable materials, wall thickness and best build specification for custom / OEM hoses according to the information and data given to Viper Performance if such information is provided by the customer, however Viper Performance cannot warrantee its hoses to customers who have not opted for Viper Performance’s build specifications recommendations for Bespoke, custom and OEM hoses, or to customers who are not sure of the
required specification and performance or who have not disclosed or shared this information
with Viper Performance.
Viper Performance cannot warranty its product if the product purchased by the customer is of incorrect or unsuitable specification for the customer’s intended use and application.
It is the customer’s responsibility to correctly specify the product and order the correct sizes, shapes and grades for the intended application.
Viper Performance’s returns policy for unsuitable goods are described in our Terms and conditions of sale.

Viper Performance guarantees that its Silicone hoses are manufactured to a quality which
enables the silicone hoses covered by the warranty to operate to the temperatures and burst pressures detailed on Viper Performance’s website.
Viper Performance cannot be held responsible for a dealer / reseller incorrectly informing or advising the purchaser on suitable grades.


Warranty claim procedure:
The purchaser is encouraged to register for warranty the product purchased within the warranty time limits.

Viper Performance cannot honour warranty claims for product which has not been registered with Viper Performance, or warranty claims for products registered for warranty after the warranty expiry date of 3 years following the original invoice date.
Customers are required to inspect the goods prior to fitting, should the goods be unsatisfactory, the returns policy is detailed on Viper Performance’s terms and conditions of sale.
Claims for Warranty can only be done by first registering for warranty with Viper Performance’s registration cards, no other method will be accepted by Viper Performance.
The parts returned and claim by letter must be posted to Viper Performance directly and not its resellers or dealers.
It is recommended to send the warranty cards by recorded delivery as no replacement cards will be issued if original card is lost, claims for warranty made by letter, email, telephone or other methods will not be accepted by Viper Performance.
A warranty registration card will be included with every Viper Performance silicone hose purchased
via Viper Performance’s website or via an approved Viper Performance re-seller or dealer/distributor, the purchaser is required to contact Viper Performance or the reseller / dealer within a maximum 28 days from purchase date to obtain a warranty registration card should the original card not have been included with the goods.
(replacement cards will not be issued following the 28 days).
All warranty claims must include a copy of the original Viper Performance sales invoice, or dealer / reseller invoice.
Viper Performance will require a contact telephone number and / or email address to make contact with the purchaser regarding the claim as we may not have the correct up to date contact details on our system in particular if the parts where purchased via one of Viper Performance’s dealers / distributors.

Viper Performance cannot honor warranty claims without a copy of a sales invoice of proof of purchase.
The cost of carriage of returned parts to Viper Performance is the responsibility of the purchaser.
Viper Performance will cover the costs of carriage back to the purchaser of the replaced items under the warranty claim should the warranty claim be honored.
All goods received for warranty claim will be inspected by Viper Performance, upon inspection Viper Performance will make a decision to honor or decline the warranty claim according to our testing and inspection criteria.
Should the product be deemed to be of working condition and fit for purpose, and not defective, Viper Performance will decline the warranty claim and not offer a replacement of the product(s) claimed for.
Viper Performance will contact the purchaser and explain this.

The returned parts will be held at Viper Performance until the purchaser makes a payment in full for the cost of postage and packaging to enable Viper Performance to ship the original part(s) back to the purchaser.
Viper Performance will hold parts which fails the warranty claim for a period of 1 year and destroy the parts without notification to the purchaser should the purchaser have not paid adequate or sufficient return carriage or made suitable arrangements for collection of goods rejected.

Viper Performance will replace the faulty goods claimed for which have been approved for warranty claim.
The goods will be replaced either from stock or built as a replacement product within times set by the current production lead times which at times could be up to 6 weeks. Replacement parts will not be replaced any quicker than the lead times possible at the time. Replacement parts will be of the same size, specification , dimension, colour.
No cash alternative or further compensations will be offered by Viper Performance in any way.
The goods replaced may be of a slightly different look and aspect to the original part
as Viper Performance may change its designs, colour tones, logos, and specifications over time.
Viper Performance will not replace goods which have developed a fault due to incorrect choice
of specification by the purchaser, for example such as originally ordering Polyester hoses when Flurosilicone liner, nomex, or Glass reinforcements should have originally be specified.
Viper Performance will advise the purchaser upon replacing the faulty part that a more suitable grade may be required if this is the case. Viper Performance will either decline the warranty claim if the incorrect grade was originally specified or use its discretion to replace the part, however Viper Performance may require the purchaser to make additional payments to cover the cost of upgrading the materials to a more suitable grade, the payment required will be equal the difference in cost from one material to the other.


Exclusions:
The warranty is not transferable.
the parts warranted are only for the use of the original purchaser, once fitted the parts warranty will be void if the parts are used for uses other than the
original intended application, engine or vehicle.
The warranty will be void if the parts show evidence of being incorrectly fitted, tampered with, too tight or too loose for the intended use (purchaser has bought the incorrect size and tried to fit this), incorrect shape purchased which has stressed the hose during use and created weak points as a result.
Warranty will not be honoured if the grade of reinforcement, or flurosilicone liner is incorrectly
specified by the purchaser.

Viper Performance will test and analyse the returned part and reject warranty claims to any parts which show signs of failure due to heat excess, excessive oil vapours, fuel degradation, due to incorrect use or incorrect specification choice. Polyester reinforced hoses fitted too close to a turbo, source of heat or excessive oil mist / vapour may fail, this cannot be covered by the warranty as correct grade should have originally be purchased.
The same rule applies to Nomex or Glass hoses fitted in an environment not suited for the materials
recommended use.
Hoses which show signs of damage due to incorrect or unsuitable clamping cannot be covered by warranty.
Hoses which are used for applications and environments which are unsuitable cannot be covered by the warranty.
Viper Performance will not honour warranty when for example coolant hoses are used for Hot turbo applications, or breather vacuum hoses used for boost or coolant etc…

Viper Performance will however honour warranty for hoses which have a manufacturing fault which has caused the hose to burst or split
when used under the applications recommended by Viper Performance.

Hoses which are discolouring, softening or hardening due to excessive heat, chemicals, oil spray, and general road dirt, or chemicals unsuitable for silicone cannot be replaced under warranty as they will still be considered fit for purpose.
Limitation of claims:
Viper Perfomance’s warranty offers a replacement of similar product and does not include or offer any repairs of the product. Viper Performance warranty does not include any compensation for any other losses arising from the defective part.

Viper Performance will identify from testing the returned part(s) if failure is due to misuse, bad fitment,

incorrect specification, incorrect size, and incorrectly fitted,in which case any warranty claims
will be void and all of the parts claimed for in the event of a multiple parts claim will also be void.

The warranty is strictly limited to the parts supplied only, and as registered on the registration card and shown on the sales invoices.


By purchasing a Viper performance silicone hose you benefit from the quality and 3 year warranty, however you also accept the limitations of this warranty by its terms and conditions.
