Fabrics and reinforcements

POLYESTER reinforced hoses

In 90% of cases our standard Polyester Reinforced fabric will do the job very well.
It is VERY effective for every day use to carry water & air.
Suits most engine applications.
Working temperatures are from –50° to +170°.
Polyester reinforced hoses are NOT suitable for caring oil.
Ideal for:

• Water


• Air


• Coolants


• Small amounts of oil mist

NOMEX® reinforced hoses

NOMEX is ideal for high working temperatures and higher pressure. Particularly well suited for turbo /
boost applications.
Working temperatures from –50° to +250°
Nomex reinforced hoses are NOT suitable for caring oil.
Ideal for:

• Water


• Air


• Coolants


• Turbo boost


• High temperatures


• Higher pressures


• Small amounts of oil mist.

GLASS(aramide) reinforced hoses

Unique product, and highly specialized. Compared to Polyester & Nomex this is ideal for
VERY high temperatures & higher pressure.
Working temperatures from –50° to +330°!
Ideal for:

• Water


• Air


• High Pressure Turbo


• VERY High temperatures applications


• Small amounts of oil mist.

GLASS hoses will not resist to Oil, are stiff and not very supple. (hence why we cannot make 90° elbows)

* NOTE: A specially formulated HIGH TEMP silicone is used which is pink(ish) in colour – Built to order only

FLURO lined hoses

Highly specialised product. Ideal for: Contact with Oils / Oil mists.
Working temperatures from –50° to +170°
Good for:

• Water


• Air


• OIL in ASTM 1 and 3 oil mists
