Each of these has a specific job and although they may look similar except for diameters each hose has a different purpose and as such may be produced from a different material to the one sitting next to it. As a result hoses are not necessarily interchangeable and you need to ensure you are selecting the right product for the job.<\/p>\n<p>Viper Performance have a range of reinforcements available for silicone hoses such as polyester, nomex and glass reinforced as well as oil and fuel resistant grades. The choice of material will be based on the area of the engine it will be used in.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cooling System Hoses\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\nAt the heart of the cooling system is the water pump and radiator.\u00a0The water pump circulates the coolant through the engine, and the radiator dissipates the excess heat.\u00a0The hoses that attach the two components are usually pre-formed or flexible silicone hoses. All of Viper Performances hoses use a high quality polyester reinforcement which is\u00a0specially designed for pressure, strength, flexibility and increases burst pressure. If you are choosing hoses for this purpose you need to be sure to specify\u00a0Fluro hoses. The\u00a0Fluro liner will stop oil droplets permeating\u00a0through the wool and destroying the hose. When selecting a fuel hose make sure you choose a supplier that uses 100% Fluro\u00a0material and at least a 1mm thick liner.<\/p>\n<p>We also have a range of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.viperperformance.co.uk\/46_braided-fuel-hoses.html\">braided hoses<\/a> available which are ideal as fuel hoses or brake lines.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Turbo Hoses<\/strong><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-2233\" src=\"http:\/\/www.viperperformance.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/turbo-bellow-hose-300x220.jpg\" alt=\"turbo bellow hose\" width=\"300\" height=\"220\" \/>When you require higher temperature rating you will require Nomex hoses.\u00a0Our Nomex reinforced hoses will withstand high temperatures up to 220\u00b0C.
