{"id":763,"date":"2012-05-24T10:11:09","date_gmt":"2012-05-24T10:11:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.viperperformance.co.uk\/blog\/?p=763"},"modified":"2012-07-04T10:17:50","modified_gmt":"2012-07-04T10:17:50","slug":"viper-pro-range-fuel-tanks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.viperperformance.co.uk\/blog\/viper-pro-range-fuel-tanks\/","title":{"rendered":"Viper Pro Range Fuel Tanks"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We&#8217;ve just added some racing fuel tanks to our PRO RANGE.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.viperperformance.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/Small-fueltank-cutaway.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-764\" title=\"Small fueltank-cutaway\" src=\"http:\/\/www.viperperformance.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/Small-fueltank-cutaway-300x254.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"254\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.viperperformance.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/Small-fueltank-cutaway-300x254.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.viperperformance.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/Small-fueltank-cutaway.jpg 1000w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The fuel tanks are extremely well built (what would you expect from Viper?), with a 3mm thick aluminium wall, which has been\u00a0 robotically welded for perfect weld, and they come with a beautiful satin finish.<\/p>\n<p>Two standard sizes are available, 5 and 10 gallon with a sump system to allow you to use the very last drop of your precious fuel and prevent the pick up sucking air when the fuel sloshes around.<\/p>\n<p>Tanks are supplied complete with fuel sender unit already mounted.<\/p>\n<p>As you can see from the cut-away picture the tanks are filled with a <strong>yellow anti-explosion foam<\/strong>, an anodised aircraft-style pull-and-twist fuel filler cap, and mounting brackets.<\/p>\n<p>The 5 Gallon tank measures 300 x 254 x 260mm<br \/>\nand the 10 Gallon tank is 410 x 370 x 260mm &#8230; and there are more to come.
