As a perfect partner to our new pipe bending tool, we also have a new pipe flaring tool designed to make perfect 37 degree flares for hard brake and clutch lines or fuel pipes. The tool is also perfect for hard line style JIC AN fittings.

This tool may be aimed at the DIY, home mechanic market but it doesn’t skimp on quality, durability or capability and it’s quite capable of working for it’s keep in a professional garage.

The tool is made from quality 6063 T6 alloy with hard chrome cones. It will roll the smoothest flares and automatically de-burr the edges.

This tool will provide a precision flare for a high quality join and is capable of flaring:
1/8″, 3/16″, 1/4″, 5/16″, 3/8″, 7/16″,1/2″, 5/8″ & 3/4″ outside diameter tube.

We’ve had a bit of a break for the hols, but now we’re back with some new products.

Ever wanted to make up your own brake or clutch lines or bend small diameter metal tubes?

Now you can do it yourself at home with our new hand held small bore pipe bender.

The handle is ergonomically designed to minimise repetitive strain on your hands when you have a whole car brake pipe set to make up.

It’s tough and light, being made from 6063 billet alloy.

The design will allow for very tight bend radius, and you can reposition the pins supplied to make 180° bends as often used on clutch slave cylinders.

The Viper Performance Tube Bender is suitable for pipes with an outside diameter of 1/16” to 1/4” and retails at £60 including VAT.

Our silicone Articulated Bellows Hose has been specially designed for areas of heavy vibration, where there is a high level of lateral and compression movement within the engine which would cause other hoses to stress and split quickly.

In these situations the quadruple centre hump convolutions act as a bellow and offers excellent flexibility and vibration absorption.

The bellows is reinforced with 5 steel rings to prevent the hose from “ballooning” under boost or pressure, keeping the shape and integrity under any condition. This makes the hose ideal for  connecting a charge cooler or Intercooler.

The hose is specialty constructed with NOMEX reinforcement and has a high temperature rating  for use up to 250°C.
The hose is supplied as a 300mm (1ft”) length with straights either side of the bellows which can be cut down to a shorter length.

This high quality specialist product comes in black and is available in 51mm 2” (2”), 63mm ( 2.5”), 76mm (3”) and 102mm (4”) diameter.  Stress? Hey, we can handle it!

Our range of braided steel hoses and end fittings has really taken off and now we’re offering a superb tool to enable enthusiasts to create perfect braided hose sets themselves.

Without a specialised tool attaching ends to braided hose will be very tricky and time consuming but this precision made tool will crimp AN style hose ends by hand with ease.

The tool can be bench mounted or portable and comes with everything you need to fit all sizes of braided hose ends to a professional standard.

The hose end fitting tool kit is far cheaper than other similar tools on the market – but don’t let the price fool you, this is a precision made, durable tool that is more than capable of working for its keep in a professional garage!

We’ve just added some racing fuel tanks to our PRO RANGE.

The fuel tanks are extremely well built (what would you expect from Viper?), with a 3mm thick aluminium wall, which has been  robotically welded for perfect weld, and they come with a beautiful satin finish.

Two standard sizes are available, 5 and 10 gallon with a sump system to allow you to use the very last drop of your precious fuel and prevent the pick up sucking air when the fuel sloshes around.

Tanks are supplied complete with fuel sender unit already mounted.

As you can see from the cut-away picture the tanks are filled with a yellow anti-explosion foam, an anodised aircraft-style pull-and-twist fuel filler cap, and mounting brackets.

The 5 Gallon tank measures 300 x 254 x 260mm
and the 10 Gallon tank is 410 x 370 x 260mm … and there are more to come. Keep watching!

Engine tend to run better if you remove the hose that recycles engine fumes to the induction system, however you can’t just vent the fumes to atmosphere – it would dump oil on the road/track/garage floor, make a mess of your car’s underbody and make the car’s interior stink of engine fumes… oh! ….and you’re not allowed to do it either.

That’s why you need to run the vent pipe to a catch can, and we have just released a pair of superb examples as part of our PRO RANGE.
Our catch cans are available in official race spec 1 litre or 2 litre options.
They are beautifully crafted, even if we say it ourselves, and polished to a mirror finish, so will look awesome in your engine bay as well as fulfilling a practical need.

1 1/16th – 12 -3b UNF and 7/8 – 14 UNF connections are provided and the catch cans come complete with a Viper stainless steel 30 micron breather filter which can be either washed and reused or bought separately and replaced as required.
A drain tap and mounting brackets are welded to the main body and a separator unit is welded inside.

Our PRO Range of reuseable oil filters are intended for competition and race cars although they can also be used on road cars and classics where original filter elements are becoming difficulty to source.

The filter is completely re-usable, The washable stainless steel filter element can be washed and re-used up to 10 times!

The unique feature with this filter element is that it has a 4000gauss magnet providing 50kg of pull that can attract ferrous swarfs under 30 microns and remove them from the recirculating oil.
This is also useful for inspection of swarf which could have potentially catastrophic consequences for an engine.

The oil filter housing is made of solid billet aluminium, satin anodised with a knurled grip for easy handling, making for quick and easy filter removal without the need of tools.
