Festival of the Unexceptional
20 July 2019
A cheap and very cheerful antidote to the more exclusive affairs taking place elsewhere this summer, the brilliant Festival of the Unexceptional swaps multi-million pound motors for those everyday heroes we used to drive but now rarely see on the road.
Carfest – North, and South
North: Friday 26th – Sunday 28th July 2019
South: Friday 23th – Sunday 25th August 2019
Carfest takes place on two different dates and locations – the North event will be at the Bolesworth Estate, Cheshire and the South event at Laverstoke Park Farm, Hampshire.
Carfest is perfect for car enthusiasts and is a great family day out offering something for everybody, from car exhibits and races to live music and fairground rides, plus an array of different food and drink stands to choose from. It is certainly not one to be missed, and all proceeds from the event go to carefully-chosen children’s charities.
National Metro & Mini Show
3/4 August 2019
The Metro & Mini Show itself is always great fun – as pretty much anything concerning Alec Issigonis’ diminutive marvel is – but the 2019 version promises to be something quite special.
International Motor Show Germany
Thursday 12th – Sunday 22nd September 2019
The 68th International Motor Show Germany – also known as IAA Cars 2019 – is the world’s largest motor show which occurs every two years and alternates with the Paris Motor Show.
Manufacturers attend the event to reveal brand new models, as well as updates to their current range.
Classic Motor Show
Friday 8th – Sunday 10th November 2019
The Classic Motor Show takes place every year at the NEC in Birmingham and is one of the largest classic car shows of the year. There will be over 2,000 classic cars on display, along with hundreds of trade stands to explore.
This event is a great networking opportunity for car lovers and keen motorists, and is attended by some of the UK’s largest car clubs.
