When building your fuel system, it is important that you specify which type of braided hose you require, as not all braided hoses are the same. Braided fuel compatible hoses are fantastic for building a professional fuel system to connect your fuel pumps, pressure regulators, fuel tanks, carborators and more.

Here at Viper Performance we offer a wide variety of braided hoses, such as their quality stainless steel double outer braid hose. Whether you’re using a nitrile or PTFE hose, the material inside a hose is important and both types have their advantages and disadvantages.

Nitrile Hoses – Advantages

• Offer good resistance to oil and fuel
• Has a better bend radius than PTFE hoses.

PTFE Hoses – Advantages

• Can be used when running hoses inside the car.
• Lightweight
• Easy to assemble
• Will not smell of fuel vapour.
• Generally can be slightly cheaper
