AN Wrench -3 to -12 (DASH) Interchangeable Wrench

The end joints for flexible hoses are made in AN / DASH sizes so the spanners in your usual tool kit won’t fit.

Viper Performance can supply wrenches in all AN / DASH sizes but for the occasional user we also have a  handy and cost effective tool – a wrench with interchangeable AN / DASH sized heads.

The kit comprises one smooth rounded edge spanner handle with six interchangeable aluminium jaws.

The jaw sizes are -3, -4, -6, -8, -10 and JIC.
The kit comes finished in black anodised aluminium.

This is probably the most cost effective way of installing hose ends without damaging or marking the fitting’s surface.

This is a hose made of Nitrile Rubber which is completely safe and suitable for fuels and perfect for use as a Fuel Filler Hose.

Featuring an inner Nitrile liner, and wire spiral inside the wall of the hose allows this hose to be flexible enough to bend into angles.
Simply push-fit onto your pipe and tighten with T bolt Clamps

Small Diameters are particularly good at bending with tight bends possible. Diameters from 51mm ID will easily make a 45° to 60° angle with a 300mm length. A length of 500 or 750mm in a 51mm ID will allow for a couple of bends.
Bigger sizes bend less.

Viper Performance are European distributors of Aeromotive and we’ve just received a new Aeromotive Fuel Pressure Gauge that is available in two versions. A 0 – 15 psi version for carburettor systems and a 0 – 100 psi gauge for fuel injection systems.

This is a ‘dry’ fuel pressure gauge (i.e. not liquid filled) with a diameter of 1.5” and comes with a 1/8’ NPT male connection to connect straight onto the regulator in the engine bay.

Order SKU 15632 for the 0~15 PSI version and SKU 15633 for the 0~100 PSI.

We bought a selection of cheap silicone hoses on line and put them to the test against their own products in front of the camera.

The big news this month is that we’ve moved to new premises in Telford, Shropshire.

The new, larger premises incorporates a showroom, extensive warehousing to ensure more parts are kept in stock and improved access and parking for customers. A new trade counter integrated with the show room and a new seating area makes it a comfortable place to discuss customers’ requirements and consult our staff about anything regarding hoses and pipes.

The showroom houses a varied selection of Viper products including silicone hoses, aluminium pipes and elbows, Aeromotive fuel products – for which Viper Performance is a main European distributor –  brake lines, heat shielding and exhaust wrap, fuel and oil tanks, oil filters and a myriad of other parts and components for race cars, performance cars, classics and kit cars.

We can now offer lengths of aluminium fuel rail extrusion. This extrusion is ideal for car builders, tuners, race teams or anyone carrying out a conversion from carbs to EFi.

The top grade 6061 aluminium extruded rail has a 16.1mm bore, and is 1 meter long ready for the customer to cut, drill and modify to suit the required application.

The fuel rail extrusion is available in gloss Black or Mirror polished surface and retails at £35.00 incl. VAT per 1 metre length.

We can now supply our fuel cells in 5, 10 and 15 gallon capacities. These aluminium tanks are filled with yellow anti-explosion foam in case of accident.

The Fuel Pick Ups are positioned in the cavity at the base of the tank in a small sump area, which prevents fuel starvation under high G force cornering or braking.

The tanks are available in natural metal or anodised black and come with a fuel sender unit, anodised aircraft style pull and twist fuel filler cap, and mounting brackets.

All parts are available as spares.

Fuel returns and connections are all AN-8 female threads and are compatible with our stainless steel braided hose connections.
