Now that Christmas is over we’ve put the elves to work making some new aluminium fabrications. Take a look at these useful small alloy tanks.

The tanks are available in anodised black or polished natural aluminium and come with mounting brackets and six outlet/inlet -8 ORB female ports. Unused ports can be blocked off with Viper  blanking caps (sold separately)

These tanks can be used in a number of applications such as reservoir tanks, breather tanks, fuel surge tanks (swirl pot) etc.. and are ideal for the racer and kit car builder alike.

Vipers Universal Fabricated Alloy tanks are of superb build quality, robotically TIG welded (we didn’t really let the elves do it) and come in three sizes…

Viper’s new aluminium universal breather tanks combine a catch can and a breather outlet all in one.

The 550ml tank features a 1/8″ NPT thread at the bottom connected to a drainage valve which can easily be removed to use the NPT thread as a return, or remote drain.

The top of the tank has a single -12 ORB female port to suit all lines.

A third port on the side of the tank serves as a connection to the breather filter of your choice.

Most silicone hose companies have been offering a black ‘classic’ hoses for some time now, but we here at Viper have never been quite happy with the products on the market.

Up until now manufacturers have produced the matte black look by adding chalk. Not ideal. You can see it and feel it when you examine the hoses, so we set about offering a better quality ‘classic’ hose and now we’ve come up with a way to do it….

We take our usual gloss black silicone and treat the outside of the hose with a special process to achieve a finish that is undistinguishable from the original rubber hose, but it has all the advantages of a top quality, modern silicone hose. It’s matte black – and it will stay that way!  The process doesn’t degrade the silicone either, so Viper Classic Hoses will not crack, expand, or shrink over time. Ideal for classics due to spend the winter months in the garage. This process is exclusive to Viper – No other silicone hose company offers anything like this!

Note: Because this is an additional process the manufacturing time is longer and therefore we do not hold this option in stock, but you can order it on any of the hoses in our range. Also Viper’s Matt Black ‘Rubber-Look’ hoses are supplied unbranded to maintain the original ‘Rubber-Look’ on classic and historic cars.

We’ve had a bit of a break for the hols, but now we’re back with some new products.

Ever wanted to make up your own brake or clutch lines or bend small diameter metal tubes?

Now you can do it yourself at home with our new hand held small bore pipe bender.

The handle is ergonomically designed to minimise repetitive strain on your hands when you have a whole car brake pipe set to make up.

It’s tough and light, being made from 6063 billet alloy.

The design will allow for very tight bend radius, and you can reposition the pins supplied to make 180° bends as often used on clutch slave cylinders.

The Viper Performance Tube Bender is suitable for pipes with an outside diameter of 1/16” to 1/4” and retails at £60 including VAT.

Our silicone Articulated Bellows Hose has been specially designed for areas of heavy vibration, where there is a high level of lateral and compression movement within the engine which would cause other hoses to stress and split quickly.

In these situations the quadruple centre hump convolutions act as a bellow and offers excellent flexibility and vibration absorption.

The bellows is reinforced with 5 steel rings to prevent the hose from “ballooning” under boost or pressure, keeping the shape and integrity under any condition. This makes the hose ideal for  connecting a charge cooler or Intercooler.

The hose is specialty constructed with NOMEX reinforcement and has a high temperature rating  for use up to 250°C.
The hose is supplied as a 300mm (1ft”) length with straights either side of the bellows which can be cut down to a shorter length.

This high quality specialist product comes in black and is available in 51mm 2” (2”), 63mm ( 2.5”), 76mm (3”) and 102mm (4”) diameter.  Stress? Hey, we can handle it!

Our range of braided steel hoses and end fittings has really taken off and now we’re offering a superb tool to enable enthusiasts to create perfect braided hose sets themselves.

Without a specialised tool attaching ends to braided hose will be very tricky and time consuming but this precision made tool will crimp AN style hose ends by hand with ease.

The tool can be bench mounted or portable and comes with everything you need to fit all sizes of braided hose ends to a professional standard.

We’ve just added some racing fuel tanks to our PRO RANGE.

The fuel tanks are extremely well built (what would you expect from Viper?), with a 3mm thick aluminium wall, which has been  robotically welded for perfect weld, and they come with a beautiful satin finish.

Two standard sizes are available, 5 and 10 gallon with a sump system to allow you to use the very last drop of your precious fuel and prevent the pick up sucking air when the fuel sloshes around.

Tanks are supplied complete with fuel sender unit already mounted.

As you can see from the cut-away picture the tanks are filled with a yellow anti-explosion foam, an anodised aircraft-style pull-and-twist fuel filler cap, and mounting brackets.

The 5 Gallon tank measures 300 x 254 x 260mm
and the 10 Gallon tank is 410 x 370 x 260mm … and there are more to come. Keep watching!
