Well, when a pipe is manufactured with mandrel bends, the metal is allowed to stretch on the outside of the bend and compress on the inside of the bend. This maintains the nominal pipe diameter thus allowing the gases to flow with less turbulence. Don’t be tempted by cheap pressure bent pipes they will not provide you with the same performance that our high quality mandrel bent pipes will.
